Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior famously known as Neymar or Neymar Jr. plays for French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain as a forward or winger and also is the current captain of the Brazilian national team. Neymar Jr. was born on 5th February 1992 in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo. He was raised by his father, Neymar da Silva, Sr., and his mother, Nadine Santos. Neymar Jr. inherited his name from his father Neymar Sr. who is also a former footballer and eventually became his son's mentor and advisor as Neymar's talents began to shine.
